On October 8th, 2008 Vintage21 will host its third church planting luncheon of the year, title "The Cycle Of Preaching The Gospel". We'll take a close look at the realities of preaching the gospel, and the importance of the Gospel.

The speakers we've invited make this a "You don't want to miss it" event!

We'll be privileged to hear from the likes of:

Elliot Grudem | "What is the Gospel"
Elliot serves as the Senior Minister at CTK, a position he has held since the summer of 2005. Prior to his work in Raleigh, Elliot served as the director of leadership development at Desire Street Ministries, a faith-based, holistic ministry located in New Orleans's Ninth Ward. Elliot holds degrees from Miami University and Reformed Theological Seminary. He is the editor of Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should Know.

Tyler Jones | "What the Gospel Messes Up"
Tyler is the Lead Pastor at Vintage21 Church in Raleigh, NC. Before planting Vintage in 2002, Tyler served on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at North Carolina State five years before starting Vintage21 Church. Tyler graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is pursuing at Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Dr. Sam Williams | "Cleaning up the Mess"
Dr. Williams is an associate professor of counseling at Souteastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. The eldest of the elders at North Wake Church, the father of 3 sons and 1 daughter, husband of Mindy (aka Minderella), and the reluctant provider of food and shelter to 3 dogs and 3 cats. In a past life he was a licensed clinical psychologist in Lake Charles, LA.

Finally, we're going to begin charging a small fee for the luncheon. We've been hosting these for several years and they've continued to grow. With the fee our plan is to continue developing these as an excellent resource for those involved in Church Planting. The cost is minimal at $10 a person.
