Following Jesus
What does it mean to follow Jesus? In the second half of chapter 9, it is clear that to follow Jesus we have to face evil with faith just like He did (v.41). You also have to be humble to follow Jesus. The disciples argued with each other about who would be the greatest (v. 46). Jesus said that the least will be the greatest (v.48). We need to be humble. Following Jesus also means that there is no turning back to the things that we once loved (or do still love) more than Him.
