Jesus' Real Family
Jesus states that his real family consists of people who hear God's word and put it into practice (Luke 8:21). There are a lot of obstacles to hearing God's word and doing what He says. That's what the parable of the soils is all about (Luke 8:4-15). There are three types of obstacles to hearing and doing God's word (Satan, the flesh, and worries, riches, and pleasures). There is only one type of good soil (a person' s heart) that bears fruit from the seed that is sown. That person hears the word of God and does it! Which soil are you?
