To caught up in myself, Jesus has to work things out of us.  He will write things out of  the book to save us, to help us.  All things are for your sake.  We cry for things we think are good for us, but Jesus looks down our future and knows they would harm us.  God Knows what you need, he gives you what you need, may not be what you want all the time.
