I grew up knowing that my "dad" was not really my "father," biologically speaking. He married my mother and then adopted me. Still, I never once felt that he loved me any less than he loved his biologically child, my sister. That pictures our relationship with God. If we are "in Christ," as the Bible says, then we have God's Spirit in our lives and that is proof that we are God's adopted children. Do you know the security that comes from being adopted?
